Olympic (the second part)

Hmm, NBC is doing much better now. At least actual time is listed, I am still not happy about the 3 hours delay. But oh well...

Anyways, Go Phelps!!!

Olympic

I have been so busy...so busy watching the Olympic!

But I really want to say: What the f**k is NBC thinking? And who the h**l is the one who made the decision?

I mean this is the internet age and we are in one of the richest countries in the world but we are watching the event hours late? Ridiculous!

Every nite waiting in front of the TV to see the events (those that I want to see) is time consuming! And why we only get to see the US team games? I mean, why can’t we have more choices? I really don’t see why we are only allowed to see the China and US Women gymnastic game, come on, the Romanina is the third place, they must be good too!

NBC paid a lot of money to get the broadcasting right but I don’t think they are smart enough to get the most of it. I mean, why not have other games recorded and show online or just broadcast them on down time (like after 1am) instead of replaying the same game?!? And why I have to watch the game 3 hours later than east coast?!? Oh and why I have to watch the whole program so I can make sure I don’t miss parts I like? Can’t NBC have a actual schedule (like exact time Phelps is going to swim?!?)

Anyways, enough for the bad part.

Events that I am following are: gymnastics (I the Chinese), diving (China again, come on!), 110m hurdler (Cheer for Liu, well, we have the same last name, hehe), Fencing (USA!)  and Swimming (Phelps and only Phelps )

By the way, I only Phelps when he is in his swimming suit (oh, muscle…*drooling* ) and with his swimming cap (his eyes are bigger, hehe and it covers his hair too! ) only. Not when he has clothes on, lol.

So I like this one:

And this one

But not this one  keke

Yes, I am weird! But this is me

UCLA Football Ticket

Dude I got my season ticket in the mail and just found out that I can only go to TWO of them, what the heck?!? (I am not going to be in LA nor US...*sigh...)

Anyways, so I am trying to sell those tickets now as I can't make it to any of those...So here are the details, I am selling them in pair (2 tickets, yup, Lawrence can't make it too!) So the listed price is for 2 tickets. I am posting original price, not trying to make a profit here =P Anyhow, email me if interested! (the gmail account please!)

Sept 20    Arizona      $35

Sept 27    Fresno State    $35

Oct 4      Washington State     $35

I Finished...What's next???

Finally I finished…my grad school.

It took me 3 years; it might sounds longer than usual. But since I work full time, I assume 3 years was actually not that long.

I know I am not the only one taking grad school, but I think I am probably the only one who can finish in 3 years while working overtime plus work travel every month in 06 and 07. Plus I am not in any kind of fellowship program, I only use the standard reimbursement thing (which means work only pay 2 classes per year).

It has been crazy; the decision of finishing in 3 years was popped up during summer 06. (typical Gigi’s style) I figured it will take me forever if I take 1 class per semester. With more and more work piled up, I might even give up. In fact, I really almost did.

I was given a technical lead position Oct 06, the first semester that I was taking 2 classes. The position not only leads local team, but also team on the other coast of the state. It was just a really great chance; I just can’t pass it…

School and working was not the worst combination; with all family members’ sickness and dead, I was back to HK for 2 months. I remembered that I finished my finals and was on the flight the next morning.

It just has been crazy. Basically for the past 12 months, if I am on travel, I do HW at hotel every night. If I am at LA, I am at school every night. (I actually took on-campus classes and meet with my team oan no-school nite)

I finished last Thursday, and now I am back to my overtime schedule >_< After all, it’s not that bad, at least it is only work…but hey, it really isn’t that bad, at least I got my 5 years plan finished early =)

So what to do next? I really need to think about it.

It is Tony and Ray's fault...

I was very happy with my DS and Wii for so long that I did not even take a look on 360...

Not until I played at Ray's place and then play again at Tony's...

I am going to blame this on both Ray and Tony...

I bought a 360 and a Guitar Hero set today!!!

It must be Ray and Tony's fault...It must be...And this is why friendship is so VALUABLE
